The fashion show is underway & the show floor opens tomorrow! Look for more updates from the Ravelry ice cream social tonight. TNNA will post the fashion show video at a later date so you can check out all of the pretty garments!
St-Denis Yarns’ Nordique is available in a range of colors. The sweater here is the cover sweater from the Spring/Summer issue of the St Denis magazine.
Kraemer Yarns has a new yarn and fiber line called Stott’s Ranch. The Kid Mohair and Superfine Merino comes in four yarn weights and a fiber for spinning, all undyed so you can play with creating your own colors!
Classic Elite has several great sample displays throughout their booth. The front sweater here was featured in the TNNA fashion show! It is made in Portland Tweed, a Virgin Wool/Alpaca/Viscose blend, which is already in stores. The pattern will be available in shops in August as a part of the Portland Tweed Collection.
Pick Up Sticks has these super cute pattern and yarn bundles made with their small balls. These are from the Baby Alpaca bundle. The little owl is a hat! Each pack comes with the patterns and yarn to make the projects and there are six bundles to choose from.
Pico Accuardi Dyeworks, based in Portland, Oregon, is here showing their beautiful naturally dyed fiber. They have sampler fiber packs available to stores, and a new fiber exploration club that is sold directly to consumers and even includes goodies from Portland in the shipments!
Crochet Dude has a new line of kits and notions with Boye! We’re modeling his tattoo-emblazoned stress relieving gloves that come in both men’s and women’s sizes. He also has kits for all skill levels, and notions including yarn snips that allow you to trim yarn with either hand. You can find these items at Michael’s and they’ll be coming soon to Joann’s.
Kathy Oliver from Scarlet Fleece has Dangercraft monster kits! Each kit comes with everything you need to make the pair of monsters! Ursula & Uma will be available at local retailers in late summer.
Nicky Epstein is signing her “Enchanted Collection” at the Aslan Trends booth. The beautiful bridal piece shown here caught the eye of many at the fashion show!
Chris de Longpré of Knitting at KNoon Designs has a new book out, Timeless Knits for Kids. It features classic patterns for children in sizes 4-14. She also has a new collection called Feathers, of little stuffed birds, including my favorite, a flamingo!
Margery Winter & Norah Gaughan signing the Berroco Comfort Afghan book. You can see several of the designs behind them. They had quite a crowd!
There’s only one man behind the stage! He’ll be modeling three sweaters tonight. His very helpful sign indicates where he can find his garments.
One of the models is knitting backstage :)
